Visual artist, Linde Ergo from De Haan, exhibits her sculptures in bronze and baked earth. Her artwork bears poetic names such as "hope", "la vità è bella" or "reflection".

At the water sports club "Windhaan" you will find an extensive range of water sports and relaxation options.

During the summer months, De Windhaan offers an extensive range of lessons and rental of water sports equipment. Sailing, kite surfing, rafting, kayaking, paddleboarding,… In short, something for everyone! Especially for the youth, sailing camps and water sports cocktails are organized during the school holidays.

During winter, the water sports pavilion is open and you are welcome for sailing and power kiting, among other things.

For the more experienced water sports enthusiasts and boat owners, berths for sailing boats and storage space for their own water sports equipment are available.

Tennis club De Polderblomme has a team of professional, VTV certified trainers. They provide guidance for beginners. Trainers with specialization for children (from 4 years), youth and young people are also present. There are even adapted training courses for advanced players. The Royal Ostend Golf Club was opened in 1903 and extends over the dunes of the Belgian coastline. Here you will find the only links course in Belgium, which makes the course challenging and technical and also offers a unique view over the sea and dunes. We are happy to reserve your tee-off. The dune forest of De Haan is a real green pearl on the Belgian coast. The area consists of three parts and covers 152 hectares. On the first Saturday of August we set our clocks in De Haan a few years ago and imagine ourselves in a real Belle Epoque.
